Your privacy in plain terms: what Trauth Review collects, what it never does, and how to exercise your rights.Who we are
This site is operated by Trauth Review Media (Newport, KY). For any privacy question or request, email [email protected].
What we collect
- Analytics. Aggregated, privacy-friendly usage data (pages viewed, rough region, device type) so we can see which reviews help. No advertising profiles, no cross-site tracking.
- Cookies. A small number — see the cookie policy. Analytics cookies load only after you allow them.
- Messages. If you email us, we keep your message and address to reply and, where relevant, to act on a correction.
- Server logs. Standard, short-lived logs kept for security and abuse prevention.
Why we can process it
Under GDPR we rely on your consent (for analytics cookies) and our legitimate interest in running and securing a useful, non-commercial review site. We do not use your data for automated decisions or profiling.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information, and we run no ad network. We use a small number of processors (for example, a privacy-friendly analytics provider and our hosting/CDN) who act on our instructions under contract.
Retention
We keep only what we need for as long as we need it: analytics in aggregate, emails until the matter is resolved, logs briefly.
Your rights
Under GDPR (EU/UK) you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Under CCPA/CPRA (California) you can request access and deletion and opt out of “sale” — we do not sell data, so there is nothing to opt out of. Email us and we will action verified requests, usually within 30 days.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date above and, for material changes, note it on the site.
